Breezing Through the Village of Hogsmeade

The Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry has achieved a certain infamy for themselves through their collection of tragedies and incidents. while the pasts of the school and its affiliates have made Hogwarts itself a more prominent establishment and location among the wizarding community, the village of Hogsmeade has risen alongside the school in the matters of tourism, travel and mystical value.

In my personal voyage through the streets of Hogsmeade, i travelled through the most vibrant of celebrations and the most dodgy of times. In my personal opinion, the inns and taverns, the people and their hospitality, everything that makes the constructs of that tiny English village, was in its own peculiar sense, funnily enough, Magical. Each life I met, Each day I passed in the village, was magical. Not in the sense of crafts we familiarise ourselves with, but rather the kind that ignites the eyes of the crowds with hope, joy, and a new ideal for the oncoming days.

The inns surely were welcoming. Each patron would enter through the doors, greeted by the sign that carved a bed. i entered through the same doors, expecting to see an ordinary inn, one common to the magic-born villages. but there was something i would've never expected.

A Row of barrels made the wall, from one end of the hall to the other. Each barrel's tap you could see, still dripping fresh. While the smell of mead and ale was rather common in the other inns i have visited in the past, as usually the tavern of the town was established at the same dwelling. though to my surprise, surely a welcome one, the smell that adorned this place of stay wasn't that of common mead, rather of wines and champagnes, all expensive and clearly adored.

I walked through the hallway reaching towards the counters where the young lads and lasses hung in the wait of the patrons asking for their rooms. the speech of the receptionists was olden and aged, and treated as the happy reminiscence to the days  of old for one as ancient as myself.

the treatment of the staff was gentle and caring. the booze and beverages were exotic and left a taste of the forest and perhaps the sky itself on your tongues. the food served was a wonderful surprise, bursting of flavors. Above all, i would love to mention, the speciality of the inns and eateries of Hogsmeade, the juicy steak cut of the beastly lung dragons. and to my further surprise, for my brethren who refuse the bite of flesh, another speciality provided by the taverns is the salads of mandragoras and enchanted fruits of the weeping willow.

All in all, as a conclusion to my food journey in the village of Hogsmeade, i'd say that it is indeed an honour to receive the chance of journey and to eat all the pleasantries the place has to offer. I as a self proclaimed food connoisseur, would be advising that in the charming allure of travel, would say that Hogsmeade is a must come if you are looking for a relaxing stay.
